Our volunteers give up their time and home to loan reusable nappies. They choose to volunteer around their jobs and families and do an amazing job! You can find out more about our fantastic volunteers below:
Amie M (BTP)
Joined WNL: January 2020
Area covered: Pershore
Favourite nappy: Little Lamb nappy with a wrap for night-time definitely. For days I like Little Lamb BTP pockets, Close Pop-ins and Miosolos
Why you choose to volunteer: I was really grateful the nappy library existed when I wanted to try them and now, whilst I’m having a ‘career break’ after having my third, I felt I really had no excuse not to pay it forward and help others who want to try them. Might also give me other grown-ups to talk to and help keep me sane as well!
Becca T (BTP)
Joined WNL: January 2020
Area covered: Holt Heath
Favourite nappy: Little Lamb sized pockets with bamboo insert
Why you choose to volunteer: I decided to volunteer as I'm a complete convert to cloth nappies! So much better for the environment and no more poonamis so I thought I'd pay it forward and help others get the chance to try them too.
Becci W (BTP)
Joined WNL: January 2020
Area covered: Evesham
Favourite nappy: Little Lamb fitted bamboo with a wool cover for overnight (can’t beat woolly pants for the cute factor!)
Why you choose to volunteer: I volunteer because I’m keen to encourage more mums (and dads) to try cloth and see the benefits for themselves, their babies and the planet!
Cher B (BTP)
Joined WNL: February 2020
Area covered: Bromsgrove
Favourite nappy: Blueberry Simplex
Why you choose to volunteer: Apart from the fact it is extremely addictive I find reusable nappies are a lot more reliable than disposables, especially when you get explosive poos. But most importantly, the environmental impact; Saving the world one nappy at a time. Did you know it takes 34 litres of water to make one disposable nappy? It takes me 60 litres to wash about 20 nappies!
Katrina H (BTP)
Joined WNL: January 2020
Area covered: Wychbold
Favourite nappy: Totsbots EasyFit Stars and Bamboozle with a Motherease wrap
Why you choose to volunteer: I chose to volunteer because the sheer amount of jargon and different types of nappies put me off using cloth with my first baby. Now I’m using cloth with my second I realise how much easier it would have been if there had been someone to go through it all with me the first time around. I would love to pass my knowledge on to other mums and dads so that together we can make cloth nappies more mainstream and look after our planet for our children.
Kirstine W (BTP)

Area covered: Redditch
Favourite nappy: Little lamb BTP pocket (although I'm also a sucker for a pattern especially Baba and boo)
Why you choose to volunteer: I volunteer to spread the cloth bum love, getting the word out that cloth is not difficult, and encouraging those on the fence to start their journey.
Laura O (BTP)

Why you choose to volunteer: I loved using cloth nappies on my kiddies but hadn’t heard of the nappy library, but wanted to spread my love of them. It makes me feel good knowing how many families I’ve have helped through their journey and how many little bums are now in cloth because of this service!

Fiona B (Demo)

Favourite nappy: Close Pop-ins and Baba and Boo
Why you choose to volunteer: I volunteer to help others who might feel as daunted as I did about the world of reusables. There’s a fair bit of jargon and what felt like a lot of rules, which can stop you taking the first steps. As it turns out, when you give it a go, it’s not nearly as scary as you think
